Projektant, absolwent Wydziału Wzornictwa na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie. Swoją ścieżkę zawodową rozpoczął od obszaru projektowania mebli, w którym realizował wiele eksperymentalnych projektów materiałowych. W 2015 roku zaprojektował rodzinę krzeseł LINK dla Paged Collection, która została włączona do kolekcji i debiutowała na targach Salone del Mobile.
W tym samym roku współzałożył markę biżuterii Sote, w której swoje podejście do projektowania w większej skali przenosi na małą formę. Od momentu założenia marka dynamicznie się rozwija i jest szeroko rozpoznawalna w całej Polsce. Projekty i portfolio Janka wielokrotnie były wyróżniane na wystawach i konkursach, w 2016 roku, razem z Eleną Lewczuk, został laureatem I miejsca programu stypendialnego YES.
