Good solutions are timeless. The 140th anniversary of our factory is an ideal opportunity to transfer the then, rarely seen today, beech wood bending technique into the reality of the 21st century, to adapt it to the requirements and lifestyle of modern consumers.
A characteristic element of the A-1400 chair are thin back legs, made of one beech rod and bent into an elegant, sensual shape. The rest of the chair’s silhouette somehow complements this impression with geometrically strict forms of the seat and front legs. Both the backrest and the seat provide comfortable cushioning thanks to the use of upholstery fabrics or mats.
